frequently asked questions

Below are some of the most common questions we get regarding the Innovate Conference. Look through these first and then, if you still have questions, send them in: info@wiredchurches.com

There are no refunds available for our Innovate conference. If you contact us prior to Innovate, your registration can be transferred to another person from the same organization for the current conference with no penalty. For more information: info@wiredchurches.com

Groups must register together in order to receive group rates. If any additional people would like to attend, they will only qualify for the current pricing associated with the new registration.

Sorry. WiredChurches.com events are adult learning environments only. We will not be able to accommodate any children so you will need to make other arrangements. Children will not be allowed at any event and childcare cannot take place on campus.

WiredChurches.com uses photos and video taken from events for print, web, and video resources. Your registration constitutes permission given to WiredChurches.com for these purposes.
Due to new legislation, our area of Indiana will be permanently on Eastern Time throughout the year. This is different than it has been in the past so please take this into consideration as you plan your visit.

Dress for WiredChurches.com events is casual. As the date for your event nears, you might want to check weather.com (using zip code 46530) for the weather outlook.

There is one lunch break during the day in which guests will be responsible for their own food and beverage. A local restaurant map will be included with your conference materials. The lunch break will be an hour and a half long, giving you and your team enough time to go off campus to a local restaurant.

Two refreshment breaks will be provided throughout each day. All food and beverages will be provided for you.

Our Connection Cafe will be open in the morning for those of you who need a little pick-me-up before the day begins. We have a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks as well as cafe style snacks. Please note that there is a cost associated with these items and the Cafe usually closes a few minutes before the start of the conference to allow guests enough time to get to their seats.

We provide a variety of snacks for all types of diets. But if anyone in your party has special dietary needs, please email registration@wiredchurches.com with the name and the specific needs of that individual and we will let you know what options are available.

Breakouts are large group environments on a certain topic and taught by a Granger leader or one of our guest speakers.

Casual Q&As are very specific topics where attendees have the freedom to ask questions and dialogue with Granger staff. They are not as structured as teaching breakouts but designed to be informal Q&A sessions with the questions being determined by the attendees themselves.

Casual Q&As are designed to let attendees dive deeper into the topics. That’s why we have very specific topics and very small groups. If groups get larger than 10, it is harder to have a dialogue with all the attendees. We offer the Casual Q&As at least twice (although some subjects are offered four times).
For those who sign up for the lunch Casual Q&As, you will have a half hour to eat. You have a choice of either grabbing fast food offsite or purchasing a box lunch before the conference starts. Please note that these box lunches are for Lunch Casual Q&A attendees only and not for all attendees.
It depends. Our Casual Q&As are offered twice each day. Once during the breakout times in which you will forfeit attending a breakout to attend them. Or you can attend a Lunch Casual Q&A and still attend any of the breakouts available on that day.
Nope! Breakouts are on a first come basis. The rooms are big enough to hold large groups. The Casual Q&As are limited in space and therefore require attendees to register ahead of time. Visit the Conference Extras page for more on Breakout Sessions and Casual Q&As.
Email info@wiredchurches.com with the church name, attendee name, the original Casual Q&A and what you would like to do (Change to another topic? Cancel all together?). We will take care of the rest.
Casual Q&A’s are limited and therefore once we have 10 people for a specific topic it is considered closed. If we have any open spaces for any of the topics, attendees will be able to sign up at Guest Services throughout Innovate. Once Innovate arrives, we cannot guarantee any open spaces for our Casual Q&A’s.
No. The only sessions we record are the main sessions of Innovate. Those can be purchased in the bookstore or at WiredChurches.com.
